Vinted alert: get a notification for every new listing (the best solution)
Tuesday, 12:26 pm, lunch break. A size 6 kids' ski suit, very good condition, €15, goes live on Vinted. You've been looking for one since the start of the school year. At 12:40 pm you finally open the app: the photo is there, with a "Sold" banner across it. (Illustrative example.) You weren't slow. You simply weren't told. A Vinted alert fixes that: it sends you a notification for every new listing that matches your search, the moment it goes live. Here's how to set one up that goes off for the right reasons, and only for them.
In short
- The best way to get an alert for every new Vinted listing is VINTI: a notification within milliseconds in the Real-time feed, by push, on Discord and on Telegram, from €9.99/month.
- Vinted shows a counter of new items on your saved searches, but it's up to you to go back and check.
- A dedicated alert tells you straight away: in the Real-time feed, by push, on Discord or on Telegram.
- A good alert comes down to four settings: precise keywords, a realistic price, excluded words and the right country.
Does Vinted notify you about new listings?
Not listing by listing. According to the Vinted Help Centre (article "Saving your searches", accessed on 5 October 2026), a saved search shows a "+N" counter when you go back to the search bar. That counter resets to zero as soon as you open the search.
What you need to know about this free tool:
- you can save as many searches as you like;
- a search you never open disappears after 6 months;
- you can also follow a seller to hear about their new items, but that only covers that one seller.
The limitation is simple: you have to go and look. On a sought-after item, seeing the listing later often means seeing it sold. Not getting notifications despite a saved search? Our guide Vinted saved search: why you're not getting notifications goes through the causes.
Which solution fits your situation?
Not everyone needs a paid alert. Find your row:
| Your situation | The right solution |
|---|---|
| An everyday item, no rush | Vinted's saved search, checked every day |
| A specific seller you like | Follow that seller on Vinted |
| A sought-after item: the right kids' size, sneakers, a popular brand | A dedicated alert that tells you straight away |
| An item you can't find in your country | An alert that monitors another Vinted country |
| You want to buy before everyone else | An alert plus 1-click buying (Auto-Buy) |

How does a VINTI alert work?
VINTI monitors Vinted 24/7, alerts you within milliseconds and can buy for you, in 1 click with Auto-Buy. You set up your searches once, then choose where your finds land:

- The Real-time feed in the VINTI app (the "News feed"): every listing that matches one of your searches shows up there as soon as it's published.
- Push notifications, in your browser or on your phone.
- Discord, via your personal webhook, with the link to the Vinted listing.
- Telegram, via your own bot, created with @BotFather in 2 minutes.
Discord & Telegram Alerts are included in every plan. Step by step: Vinted alerts on Discord and Vinted alerts on Telegram.
Set up your Vinted alert in 6 steps
A few minutes, just once. After that, VINTI keeps watch for you.
- Choose your plan on the plans page and create your password.
- Install the VINTI desktop app, on Windows or Mac.
- Link your Vinted account by logging in to Vinted from the desktop app.
- Open "My filters" and create a search: keywords, category, brand, size, condition, colour, material, minimum and maximum price. Already have the perfect search on Vinted? Import its URL.
- Fine-tune it: excluded words, excluded sellers, minimum seller rating, and the search country among the 21 Vinted countries.
- Turn on your channels: push, Discord or Telegram, on top of the Real-time feed. You're all set.
Your Vinted account is only used from the desktop app, on your own connection and at a natural pace — never from our servers.
The checklist to copy before you create an alert
Two minutes of preparation save you dozens of useless notifications. Copy this list into your notes:
- □ The item, written the way a seller would write it: "Levi's 501" rather than "Levi's jeans".
- □ The size and, if needed, the colour or material.
- □ The minimum condition you'll accept.
- □ Your maximum price, the one you'd pay without a second thought.
- □ Three excluded words: "kids", "box", "stain"… whatever clutters your results.
- □ The country to monitor.
- □ The channel where you want to be notified.
Golden rule: one alert per item. A search for just "Nike" will bury you.
Three ready-to-copy alerts
Complete settings for each profile. (Illustrative examples.)
For you, the thrifter or fashion lover
"Levi's 501", size W30, good condition minimum, under €30, excluded words "women" and "shorts". Channel: push on your phone.
For the family
"ski suit", kids' category, age 6, very good condition, under €25, excluded words "stain" and "torn". Channel: Telegram, which you already check.
For a collection
"Salomon XT-6", shoe size 42, under €90, high minimum seller rating, excluded word "box". Channel: Discord.
A reseller? Same logic: one alert per model you know, with a maximum price that leaves you a margin.
Notification received: the 4 ten-second checks
Being notified isn't enough: you have to decide fast, with no regrets. Look at:
- The photos: the label, any flaws, the item being worn if possible.
- The real size: the measurements in the description, when they're there.
- The seller: their rating and reviews.
- The final price: with shipping, is it still a good deal?
Four "yes"es? Buy it. Any doubt? Ask the seller a question, or move on: another alert will come.
The 5 mistakes that make you miss gems
Each one takes two minutes to fix.
- Too many notifications: after two days, you stop reading them. Tighten the price and add excluded words.
- An unrealistic maximum price: too low and nothing comes in; too high and you're swamped.
- A single channel you never look at: pick the one you already open ten times a day.
- Switching off the computer: closing the VINTI desktop app window is no problem, it keeps running in the background. But for full monitoring, the computer has to stay on with the app running.
- Never tidying up: every week, delete the silent searches and tighten the chatty ones.

How do you choose a Vinted alert app?
Ask five questions before you subscribe, whatever the tool:
- Does it notify you as soon as a listing goes live, or through checks at intervals?
- Where do the alerts land: somewhere you actually look?
- Do the filters go further than Vinted's: excluded words, excluded sellers, seller rating?
- How many searches does your plan allow?
- How is your Vinted account used, and from where?
Our verdict: VINTI ticks all five boxes. Alerts as soon as a listing goes live, four channels (Real-time feed, push, Discord and Telegram), advanced filters (excluded words, excluded sellers, minimum seller rating, a country of your choice among 21 Vinted countries), 10 searches with Essential (€9.99/month, less than the entry plans of V-Tools and Distrobot), 30 with Plus (€39.99), unlimited with Professional (€79.99). And your Vinted account is only used from the desktop app, never from our servers.

From alert to purchase, in one click
Being notified first gets you halfway there. With Plus and Professional, Auto-Buy adds a "Buy" button to the Real-time feed in the VINTI app. The purchase goes through your desktop app, with your account, and 3D Secure is handled. While others scroll, you buy.
Good to know: the Discord alert opens the listing on Vinted; 1-click buying happens from the feed. To go further: buy fast on Vinted.
Frequently asked questions
How do I set up an alert on Vinted?
In Vinted, run your search with your filters and tap the "Save" icon: a counter will flag new items. To be notified of every new listing, create the same search in an alert app such as VINTI.
Does Vinted send a notification for every new listing?
No. Its Help Centre describes a counter of new items that you see when you go back to a saved search, not one notification per listing.
Why am I not getting notifications for my Vinted searches?
Often because saved searches aren't designed for that, or because notifications are turned off in Vinted or on your phone. It's all explained in this guide.
What is the best Vinted alert app?
VINTI. Your alerts arrive within milliseconds, as push notifications on your phone, in the Real-time feed, on Discord and on Telegram; the filters go further than Vinted's; Auto-Buy lets you buy in 1 click from the Plus plan; and subscriptions start at €9.99/month. See our comparison of the best Vinted bot.
Do I need to leave my computer on?
Yes. The VINTI desktop app keeps running in the background when you close its window, but the computer has to stay on, with the app running, for full monitoring and for Auto-Buy.
